1st 8 weeks of full semester; first 4 weeks of summer semester.
Any First 5-week Session student whose aid has disbursed to their account by June 18, 2024, and that disbursement of aid creates a credit balance on their account will have a financial aid refund issued on June 25, 2024.
This is the last day you may use your excess Summer 2024 Financial Aid to purchase textbooks.
You will receive a 25% tuition refund (75% charge) for dropping beginning Tuesday, May 28 through Monday, June 3.

There is NO tuition refund for the Summer 2024 First 5 Week Session for withdrawing AFTER June 3.
You must drop PRIOR to the first day of classes, which is Tuesday, May 28, to obtain a 100% tuition refund and avoid incurring a drop penalty. Students that drop ON or AFTER Tuesday, May 28, will be charged in accordance with the SUNY Tuition Refund Policy.
You may begin using your excess Summer 2024 Financial Aid to purchase books beginning Monday, May 20, 2024. Your aid must be on your account to do so.
The last day to purchase books using your aid is Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Failure to submit a Residency Certificate to the Student Accounts Office by May 31 will result in having your tuition charges “doubled.” ALL students MUST submit a Residency Certificate each year. Tuition for the Summer 2024 semester is DUE no later than Friday, May 3, 2024. Payment is due upon registration after May 3.
