Any Last 12 Week Session student whose aid has disbursed to their account by October 7, 2025, and that disbursement of aid creates a credit balance on their account will have a financial aid refund issued on October 15, 2025.
Counties are only required to issue Residency Certificate for the first 30 days of a semester. Tuesday, October 14, 2025 is the last day your County is required to issue a Residency Certificate for the Last 12 Week session.
This is the last day you may use your excess Fall 2025 Financial Aid to purchase textbooks.
You will receive a 30% tuition refund (70% charge) for dropping beginning Monday, September 22 through Sunday, September 28.
There is NO tuition refund for the Fall 2025 Last 12 Week Session for withdrawing AFTER September 28, 2025.
You will receive a 60% tuition refund (40% charge) for dropping beginning Monday, September 15 through Sunday, September 21.
The last day for ANY tuition refund for the Last 12 Week session is September 28, 2025.
You must drop PRIOR to the first day of classes, which is Monday, September 15, 2025 to obtain a 100% tuition refund and avoid incurring a drop penalty.
Students that drop ON or AFTER Monday, September 15, 2025 will be charged in accordance with the SUNY Tuition Refund Policy.
You may begin using your excess Fall 2025 Financial Aid to purchase books beginning Monday, September 8, 2025. Your aid must be on your account to do so. The last day to purchase books using your aid is Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Failure to submit a valid Residency Certificate to the Student Accounts Office by August 29, 2025 will result in having your tuition charges “doubled.” ALL students MUST submit a valid Residency Certificate each year.
