Counties are only required to issue residency certificates for the first 30 days of a semester. Tuesday, January 13 is the last day your County is required to issue a certificate for the Winterim session.

You must drop PRIOR to the first day of classes, which is Tuesday, January 20, to obtain a 100% tuition refund and avoid incurring a drop penalty. Students that drop ON or AFTER Tuesday, January 20, will be charged in accordance with the SUNY Tuition Refund Policy.

You will receive a 75% tuition refund (25% charge) for dropping beginning Tuesday, January 20 through Monday, January 26.

Failure to submit a Residency Certificate to the Student Success Center by January 23 will result in having your tuition charges “doubled”.  ALL students MUST submit a Residency Certificate each year.

You will receive a 25% tuition refund (75% charge) for dropping beginning Tuesday, February 3 through Monday, February 9.

You will receive a 60% refund (40% charge) for dropping beginning Monday, February 9 through Sunday, February 15.

The last day for ANY tuition refund for Last 12 Week session is February 22.

This is the last day you may use your excess Spring 2026 Financial Aid to purchase textbooks.

You will receive a 30% refund (70% charge) for dropping beginning Monday, February 16 through Sunday, February 22.

There is NO tuition refund for the Spring 2026 Last 12 Week Session for withdrawing AFTER February 22.

Any Full semester student whose aid has disbursed to their account by February 17, 2026, and that disbursement of aid creates a credit balance on their account will have a financial aid refund issued on February 24, 2026.

This is the last day you may use your excess Spring 2026 Financial Aid to purchase textbooks for Last 12 Week Classes.

Students that drop ON or AFTER Monday, March 23, will be charged in accordance with the SUNY Tuition Refund Policy.

You will receive a 25% tuition refund (75% charge) for dropping beginning Monday, March 23 through Sunday, March 29.

There is NO tuition refund for the Spring 2026 Last 7 Week Session for withdrawing AFTER March 29.

This is the last day you may use your excess Spring 2026 Financial Aid to purchase textbooks for Last 7 Week Classes.

Any Last 7 Week Session student whose aid has disbursed to their account by April 7, 2026, and that disbursement of aid creates a credit balance on their account will have a financial aid refund issued on April 14, 2026.

Counties are only required to issue Residency Certificates for the first 30 days of a semester. Tuesday, April 21 is the last day your County is required to issue a certificate for the Last 7 Week session.
