Joshua Lang is bringing his newest performance to Genesee Community College on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Lang is a former student, and currently works as a professional choreographer. He is the recipient of a grant, along with the Rochester City Ballet. Mr. Lang is working with the GCC theatre students on a unique blend of ballet and puppetry. This grant funded workshop will culminate with a performance for the public on October 12 at 7:30pm in the Stuart Steiner Theatre, located on Genesee Community College’s Batavia campus. Admission is free, with plenty of seating available in the auditorium. Anthology of Fantastic Zoology: A new work of Dance & Puppet Theatre will explore the medium of storytelling through physical movement and creative puppetry.
Joshua Lang is a dancer and choreographer from Rochester, NY. He has a degree in Theatre and Dance from the State of New York (SUNY) Geneseo. He is experienced in Costuming, Puppetry, and Set Construction.
