Successful Note-taking

College is about learning many different things. How can someone keep all of these things straight and retain them for use later? That's where notetaking comes in. There are many different styles and kinds of notetaking, something for every kind of person. In this workshop, we'll talk about and practice a little mock example of a couple of them, a little sample of the many different ways to look at notes for you to try yourself out in the wild. We'll try to bridge key ideas together, figure out what's important to note, techniques for different classes, and what to do after you've made your notes. It's important to study smarter rather than harder, after all!
