When a Course Becomes Difficult

Primary tabs

Monday, June 8, 2020 - 12:00am
Event Description:

It happens to the best of us! You sit and listen to the lecture, you do the homework, but you still feel lost. Maybe the subject is out of your comfort zone, or it's just a difficult class. It may feel like the end of the world - it's not. You can get back on track, but you're going to need some tools to handle the pressure. Learn how to properly self-assess your class performance and what resources are available on campus to help you recover. We'll help you get back to the academic success you want to see - whatever that may look like for you.

This workshop is not held live - all recordings and resources are available in the Online Learning Center Blackboard organization. GCC students can enroll themselves in this organization. Tutoring staff will be available for office hours to discuss this workshop during the promoted week and students can sign up to meet with a tutor through TutorTrac.
