Event Description:

Join us for an artist talk with Mary Jo Whitman as she discusses her latest series of drawings. The talk will take place at 12:30pm in the Stuart Steiner Theatre lobby on Thursday, October 22. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

Invisible Scars was made to highlight Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which takes place each October. The artwork centers around the experiences of survivors, while asking viewers to confront the realities of abuse and the different forms it takes. This exhibit will be on display from October 13 - November 30, 2026 in the Stuart Steiner Theatre lobby. This space is open any time the campus is open, so feel free to stop by. This project was made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART!
