This is the last day you may use your excess Summer 2025 Financial Aid to purchase textbooks.

You will receive a 25% tuition refund (75% charge) for dropping beginning Tuesday, May 27 through Monday, June 2.

There is NO tuition refund for the Summer 2025 First 5 Week Session for withdrawing AFTER June 2.

You must drop PRIOR to the first day of classes, which is Tuesday, May 27, to obtain a 100% tuition refund and avoid incurring a drop penalty. Students that drop ON or AFTER Tuesday, May 27, will be charged in accordance with the SUNY Tuition Refund Policy.

You may begin using your excess Summer 2025 Financial Aid to purchase books beginning Monday, May 19, 2025. Your aid must be on your account to do so.

The last day to purchase books using your aid is Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Counties are only required to issue Residency Certificates for the first 30 days of a semester. Wednesday, June 25 is the last day your County is required to issue a Certificate for the Full Semester session.

Any Full semester student whose aid has disbursed to their account by June 17, 2025, and that disbursement of aid creates a credit balance on their account will have a financial aid refund issued on June 24, 2025.

There is NO tuition refund for the Summer 2025 Full Semester for withdrawing AFTER June 9.

Failure to submit a Residency Certificate to the Student Accounts Office by May 30 will result in having your tuition charges “doubled.” ALL students MUST submit a Residency Certificate each year.  You will receive a 60% tuition refund (40% charge) for dropping beginning Tuesday, May 27 through Monday, June 2.
